This is the third video in a series of five, focusing on managing Generation X.
Different generations need to be managed in different ways. But how do we know who is in what generation?
As a manager, it's crucial to be aware of your team's ages or have the means to obtain this information. Only then can you match their ages with the corresponding generational categories such as Baby Boomer, Generation X, Y, or Z to recognise their preferred management styles..
While this structure is not a 'one size fits all' approach, it does serve as a starting point. Additional management techniques are necessary to get the very best from your employees, however, it's a great place to start understanding and connecting with your team on a human level.
Naturally, if you would like some help please get in touch.
Enjoy, David.
